The ‘AZD1222’ vaccine, developed by the Oxford University and backed by AstraZeneca, is said to be double protective against the deadly virus which has claimed over 6 lakh lives worldwide.



The trial of the vaccine has entered crucial stage 3. The vaccine which has been named ChAdOx1 nCoV-19, is one of the over 100 vaccines being developed by various countries. The Covid 19 virus has so far infected more than 13 million people.



Meanwhile, the Oxford University has accused Russia of hacking its coronavirus vaccine research. A hacking group APT29 which is linked to the Russian Intelligence Service is attacking institutions involved in Corona virus vaccine development.
