May 31, 2022: Shruti Sharma hails from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh has secured All India Rank 1 (AIR 1) in Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil services exam 2021. Shruti said she was confident about qualifying the UPSC exam but topping the merit list came as a 'pleasant surprise'. She said, “I want to serve the country by joining the Indian Administration Services (IAS)”.



Shruti is an alumnus of St Stephens College and Jawaharlal Nehru University and prepared her UPSC Civil Services Exam at Jamia Millia Islamia residential coaching academy.





The UPSC had announced the final results for the UPSC civil services exam 2021 on May 30. Shruti Sharma, Ankita Agarwal, Gamini Singla and Aishwarya Verma have secured the top ranks respectively.
