July 26, 2021: Actress Tisca Chopra has been gaining attention on social media but all for the wrong reasons.

On Saturday, as the country took to social media to congratulate weightlifter Mirabai Chanu for winning silver medal in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020, Tisca Chopra also joined to congratulate her. But she ended up sharing Indonesian weightlifter Windy Cantika Aisah in place of Mirabai’s photo.

Following this she received a lot of backlash and was trolled on social media for her goof up.

Later, the actress has deleted the post.

Replying to one Twitter user who pointed out her mistake, Tisca wrote, “Sorry - made a mistake.” In response to another, she wrote, “Glad you guys had fun! That was a genuine mistake, am so sorry .. still doesn’t mean I am not proud of @mirabai_chanu at the #TokyoOlympics .. and of the rest of our contingent.”

Mirabai Chanu opened India's medals tally on Saturday as she bagged a silver in the women's 49kg category at Tokyo Olympics 2020.
