October 19, 2023: Ahead of the Durga Puja Festival, at least six suspected dacoits have been detained by Assam Police in Assam’s Kaliabor on Wednesday night.

Reportedly, Police have seized some sharp weapons and a pistol from the detained dacoits. According to police officials, the dacoits were harassing, causing problems and difficulties between the people in the area for many days.

However, police have started to interrogate the dacoits. Further details awaited.
