January 4, 2022: Making a direct connect with the people of Manipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today (Jan 4) that Manipur was always ignored by the earlier Central governments. “I brought the Delhi and complete central government closer to Manipur after I became PM in 2014,” the Prime Minister said addressing a huge gathering in Imphal ahead of the Assembly elections.

We have to maintain stability here while taking the state to the top of the development and this can only be done by the 'double-engine' government,” the PM said complimenting the Biren Singh-led state government in tirelessly working towards the development and progress of the people of Manipur.
