September 28, 2023: The Orang National Park will be open for tourists from October 1, 2023. As per national park authorities, the park will remain closed every Monday for visitors.

Orang National Park is located on the northern bank of the Brahmaputra River in the Darrang and Sonitpur districts of Assam. This national park is rich in flora and fauna, including great Indian rhinoceros, pygmy hog, Asian elephant, wild water buffalo and the Bengal tiger.
