Meanwhile, monsoon has not really begun anywhere in the North India. “We are monitoring. Monsoons in Delhi are still far,” Jenamani said.
Orange alert has been issued in Delhi. The met department is predicting severe heatwave from in Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, UP and parts of MP and Rajasthan. Temperature will vary between 44°-47°. This severe heat condition is expected to continue for few more days. “We advise people to venture out carefully as heat spell is very severe,” Jenamani said.
