July 1, 2021: Four more death cases reported in Arunachal Pradesh due to the COVID-19, taking the death toll up to 172 in the state. The death rate is at 0.48 per cent.

As many as 286 new positive cases detected out of 4,782 samples collected on Wednesday all over the state.

The total cases in the state now mounted to 35,857. The state currently has 2762 actives cases with positivity at 07.70 per cent and 32,923 patients have recovered or discharged so far. The recovery rate ia at 91.82 percent.

It may be stated that the number of recovery from Covid-19 is less than the number of news cases emerges in the state. It appears that the Covid-19 situation in Arunachal Pradesh is still not in a favourable condition to make life normal.

As per the new SOP, the night curfew in the state remains from 6 PM to 5 AM. Tourists are still not allowed to visit the state and the existing policies to control the pandamic are not working properly, as per the sources.
