The 18 labourers have gone missing on July 5, District Deputy Commissioner Nighee Bengia told news agency ANI.

Speaking to ANI, Tapir Gao, BJP MP from Arunachal Pradesh East said, “I would like to make it clear Indo-China border is very far from Damin (in Kurung Kumey from where the workers have gone missing) so it's within Arunachal Pradesh very much...Police and government are trying to establish detailed information”.
