September 9, 2023: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders and workers on Saturday staged a protest across Andhra Pradesh after the arrest of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Visakhapatnam.

Reportedly, the former CM has been arrested in connection with an alleged corruption case.

The protesters raised slogans against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government. Many of the protesters and several party leaders were detained and some of them have been shifted to Arilova Police Station.

Police have also detained Chandrababu Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh from the East Godavari district.
