The station will provide an airport-like experience to passengers with facilities such as a luxury hotel, theme-based lighting, an interfaith prayer hall and a separate baby feeding room.

The structure is designed and provided with green building rating features and has already obtained sustainability standards green certification from the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).

During the virtual event, PM Modi will also flag off Gandhinagar-Varanasi weekly superfast train and Gandhinagar-Varetha MEMU train. He will also dedicate the newly electrified Mehsana-Varetha broad gauge rail line, which passes through Vadnagar (PM's hometown), and a 266 km stretch between Surendranagar and Pipavav station.
