August 24, 2023: A massive landslide hits Himachal Pradesh's Kullu district on Thursday. Several multi-storeyed buildings have collapsed in Anni, leaving behind a massive trail of dust and debris. Many people are feared trapped under the debris.

Reportedly, teams such as the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) have been deployed in the incident place to rescue the landslide-affected victims.

The visuals of the landslide are circulating on social media.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert, warning of imminent heavy to very heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh for the next two days.
