September 8, 2023: The 40-year-old man identified as Vikram Athwal who was arrested for allegedly murdering an Air Hostess in Andheri ended his life in police custody in Mumbai in the wee hours of Friday morning.

Reportedly, Vikram Athwal was found dead using his pants to hang himself inside the washroom.

Vikram allegedly slit the throat of the 25-Year-Old Air Hostess in her rented flat in Marol of Suburban Andheri. He entered her room pretending to pick up the garbage bag. The girl was originally hailing from Chhattisgarh. Vikram was arrested on Monday after committing the crime.

The accused Vikram was a housekeeper and worked in the society where the victim lived.

During the investigation, Vikram Athwal and the girl used to argue over petty issues earlier.
