August 28, 2023: A man allegedly killed his live-in partner by allegedly hitting her head with a pressure cooker in South Bengaluru on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Deva and she hails from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

The accused identified as Vaishnav who is a resident of Kerala’s Kollam has been arrested by the Begur Police. He is a marketing executive with a local firm by profession. The accused Vaishnav was on the run after committing the crime.

According to reports, the couple have been living together in a rented apartment in Bengaluru for the last two years. They studied together since their college days.

Locals claimed that they have often seen the couple indulging in verbal spats.
