September 23, 2023: A 22-year-old woman who went out with her fiancée for a walk was allegedly gang-raped in Jharkhand on Friday. The incident took place near Barijal village in West Singhbhum.

According to some reports, the miscreants took the bag and mobile phone after raping the victim and left her at some secluded place. The fiancée of the victim however managed to escape from the scene and informed police.

After reaching the crime spot, police sent the victim to a hospital for her treatment. During the search operation, five people were arrested in connection to the case from Kitaguttu village.
