December 2,2022: Five jawans were injured during an encounter between security forces and Naxals in Jharkhand’s Chaibasa on Thursday.



The encounter broke out between security forces and Maoists on Thursday in Sarjomburu forest under Chaibasa (West Singhbhum) district of Jharkhand. Five jawans have been shot in this. All the jawans among the injured belong to the Cobra battalion of CRPF. Their names are Suraj Kumar, Sushil Lakda, Budhdev Kishan, Krishnanath Bokra and Sandeep. The injured soldiers were airlifted and admitted to Medica Hospital in Ranchi. The condition of two of them is said to be serious.



It is being told that the search operation was being conducted by the security forces in the Naxal-affected Tonto and border areas of Goilkera police station area of ​​Chaibasa district. Meanwhile, the Naxalites started firing on the jawans. Although the security forces have also given a befitting reply to the Naxalites. In this encounter, many Naxalites are also reported to have been shot.



Maoist leader Anmol ji and Mochu’s squad is active at the place where the encounter took place. During the search operation, the first encounter suddenly took place around 8 am, to which the security forces responded strongly. After this, once again at around 11 o’clock the Naxalites again attacked the security forces.



Banned Naxalite organization CPI (Maoist) has announced to celebrate People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) week from 2 to 8 December. The organization has issued a booklet saying that the guerrilla war against the police will be intensified. In view of this announcement by the Naxalites, security forces are conducting search operations in different areas of the state.
