November 8, 2021: Tension erupted at Sukma District in Chhattisgarh where the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans of 50th Bn opened fire at the colleagues inside the camp on Monday.

Reportedly, four jawans have been killed and three have been injured.

The incident took place in the wee hours of Monday in the 50th battalion Lingapali village under Maraiguda police station, located nearly 400 km from state capital Raipur.

As per the preliminary information, Constable Reetesh Ranjan fired at the jawans with his service weapon AK-47. All the seven injured personnel were shifted to nearby hospital of Bhadrachalam area of neighboring Telangana where doctors declared four of them death.

Four deceased personnel were identified as Constable Rajmani Kumar Yadav, Rajib Mondal, Dhanji and Dharmendra Kumar.

As per reports, Constable Reetesh Ranjan who shot at the colleagues was arrested immediately.
