August 23, 2023: According to the National Curriculum Framework for School Education, the board examinations will be conducted twice a year to ensure that students have enough time and opportunity to perform well in the exams.



Students of Grade 11 and 12 will also have to learn two languages out of which one has to be compulsory an Indian language.



The new curriculum framework was announced by Ministry of Education on Wednesday. The decision has been taken in order to make the board exams easier than the current practice.



According to the new curriculum framework, the current practice of covering the textbooks in the classroom will also be avoided.
