"Given the uncertainty surrounding the omicron variant, holding the show on January 31st simply contains too many risks," the academy said in a statement.



The Grammy Awards have been postponed for the second year in a row due to COVID-19. Reportedly, the show was originally set for January 31, 2021, before being rescheduled for March 14, 2021.
