October 26, 2023: A heinous crime incident came to light in Guwahati, Assam on Thursday. A teenage girl was allegedly gang-raped by two boys for many days.

Reportedly, the victim was staying as a tenant in one of the accused house. The incident took place when the victim’s family member went to see puja.

Later, the victim’s family lodged a complaint at Birubari Police Station. Two persons were detained, out of which one is a minor. Both of them are cousin brothers.

As per police officials, the main accused has been identified as Nayan Barhoi. Police started interrogating both the detained persons.
