November 1, 2020: Several shops were gutted in a major fire in Guwahati’s Pandu area on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
Reportedly, many goods worth Rs several lakhs were destroyed and at least 15 firefighters were present at the site of incident to control the blaze.
No fatalities or injuries were reported in the incident.
It has been suspected that the short circuit triggered the massive fire.
