May 1, 2022: Unable to cope with the financial stress, a cab driver of Guwahati committed suicide on Saturday night.
The man has been identified as Utpal Gohain, a resident of Sivasagar District.
The man committed suicide when no one was at home.
Later, the deceased’s body was taken by some of the cab drivers to the Basistha Police Station. They also staged protest against Ola-Uber cab service providers.
