October 12, 2023: Arup Deka, the person who was alleged in Guwahati Double Murder Case has been granted bail by the court and released from jail on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the main accused Bandana Kalita's bail plea has been rejected repeatedly.

Bandana Kalita of Guwahati, Assam allegedly chopped her husband Amarjyoti Dey and mother-in-law Sankari Dey into pieces after killing them and disposed of all the body parts in some places of Meghalaya.

On the other hand, Dhanjit Deka who is also alleged in the same case is likely to get the bail soon.
