November 19, 2020: The main construction of the Golden Kalasi (main dome) of the Kamakhya Temple is over.
The dome has been donated by the Reliance Industries Limited.
Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries has donated 19 KGs of gold for the decoration.
Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma had requested Ambani for decorating the shrine and the latter had readily agreed to his proposal.
