October 28, 2020: In a joint operation carried out by Guwahati Police and Assam Rifles, a huge amount of drugs worth lakhs has been seized in Guwahati’s Basistha Chariali area on Tuesday night.
One person identified as Rinku Choudhury has been arrested by officials in this regard who was trying to smuggle the drugs which were worth nearly 19 lakhs.
