September 7, 2020: Guwahati Police Commissioner Munna Prasad Gupta on Monday held meeting with all top police officials of the city. The Commissioner reviewed the law and order situation of the city in the meeting held at the Paltan Bazar Police Reserve.

The meeting was attended by all Assistant and Joint Police Commissioners of the city. It discussed about the recent rise in the city's crime graph.

The Commissioner also learnt to have discussed about the crackdown on lockdown rules violators, specially after the Gauhati High Court order on stricter action on people not wearing masks.The CP on Sunday informed that in 2 months, they have collected Rs. 13 lakh from people not wearing masks.
