May 31, 2020: In yet another abhorrent incident, a youth was brutally lynched in Mariani's Gabharu Parbat following which he later succumbed to the injuries in hospital.

The deceased identified as Debashish Gogoi who hails from Noksari's Milgaon had gone to the area with his friend Aditya Das for sightseeing on Friday.

While returning they got involved in a minor accident following which Debashish and his friend was brutally attacked by a mob.

When the father and sister of Debashish went to rescue him they were barred by the mob. They were later rescued by the police following which they were admitted at JMCH.

Debashish - who was critically injured later succumbed to the injuries at the hospital.

As per reports, four accused identified as Ashish Nayak, Sachin Saora, Radheshyam Kurmi and Ashok Saora have been arrested till now in this regard.
