November 5, 2020: An FIR was lodged at Dhaligaon Police Station on 1/11/2020 regarding cheating and misappropriation of money by a gang of miscreants and accordingly Dhaligaon PS Case no. -  298/2020 U/S 420/406/34 IPC was registered.

The two prime accused identified as Robin Ch. Baruah (27) and Md. Nobir Ali (37)from Bongaigaon were arrested following the investigation.

As per reports, since last three days, Chirang Police has successfully recovered total of nine Tractors from various places of Goalpara, Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon & Chirang district.

The investigation is underway to nab the other accomplices involved in the organised cheating racket.
