May 16, 2022: In a terrifying moment, a bamboo bridge was washed away while two women were crossing it in Assam’s Dhakuakhana on Monday.
Video shows women stranded in middle of the Dhakuakhana’s Charikoriya River on a damaged bamboo bridge. They were rescued by the locals.
Assam is being lashed with heavy rains. As many as 222 villages and 57,000 people have been affected so far due to floods in the state.
