April 28, 2022: Business tycoon and Tata Trusts Chairman Ratan Tata was present along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at the grand public rally in Dibrugarh on Thursday. The rally was part of the PM’s visit to Dibrugarh where he inaugurated 7 cancer hospitals and laid the foundation for 7 more.

The cancer hospitals are coming up under the Assam Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF), collaboration between the Assam government and Tata Trusts for setting up cancer care units in the state. 

Noel Naval Tata, trustee of Sir Ratan Tata Trust and Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and N Chandrasekaran, Chairperson Tata Group were also present at the event.
