January 11, 2022: The 65-year-old ULFA-I leader Jibon Moran was granted bail by a NIA Court due to the inability to file chargesheet in time.

Jibon Moran was in Jail for 6 months.

He will be released from jail today.

Moran was the Finance Secretary of the banned outfit and also held the position of Major General of the banned outfit. He had left its Myanmar camp due to health reasons.

Moran had joined ULFA In 1984 and underwent training in Burma.
