March 31, 2023: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has bagged the 17th position of Most Powerful Indians 2023 conducted by the Indian Express 100.
Besides, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have bagged the first and second positions respectively.
Earlier in 2022, Assam CM was ranked 32nd position out of the 100 most powerful leaders of the country.
