July 16, 2021: Amid the rising number of COVID cases in Assam, the government has issued a new notification stating that even fully vaccinated passengers (who have got both doses of COVID vaccine) travelling to Assam would now have to mandatorily undergo COVID tests on their arrival at the Guwahati airport and railway stations across Assam.
