May 12, 2022: Heavy rains have damaged the railway track in Wadrangdisa Railway Station. The railway track has been submerged under water and trees have also fallen on the track, following which train services in Lumding - Silchar route has been temporarily blocked. Clearing activity is going on the railways personnel are working to fix the track.

The Lanka road has been blocked due to landslides. Gushing rain water has caused damage to the road.

It was a narrow escape for several labourers who were rescued just in time by the police as the Jatinga river’s water level suddenly swelled and the strong current was about to sweep the labourers away.
