May 29, 2023: In a recent development, another water pipeline burst incident took place at Maligaon in Guwahati, Assam on Monday.

Reportedly, the burst occurred below the under-construction flyover near Jalukbari Police Station, leaving heavy water spillage on the road.

Few days ago, a major water pipeline burst happened at Joypur in the Kharguli area of Guwahati which swept away several vehicles and many families were left out without a home.

Several people were injured and one woman lost her life in the Kharguli incident.
