“The dream of getting into Civil Services has always been there. After my sister cleared ACS exams I was even more inspired,” Ayushi, a software engineer said. She worked as a software engineer for about 3 years but left the job because she started to prepare for UPSC. She appeared for ACS exams too and she has got the call for the interview, a beaming Ayushi said.

When asked about how to prepare for UPSC, Ayushi said it usually takes 2-3 years of dedicated preparation. Anyone planning to appear for Civil Service exams has to prepare for minimum 8 months to a year. They should be aware of the exam pattern, the type of questions asked and be focused about the sources (books and study materials) for preparation.
