December 9, 2020: The second and final phase of election to the Bodoland Territorial Council will be held on Thursday.

Altogether 10,23,014 voters will vote in 1406 polling stations to decide the fates of 111 candidates.

The poll will be held for 11 constituencies of Kokrajhar district and 7 of Chirang district.

Tight security has been put in place for the poll. Each poll station will have 3 armed police personnel.

The polling officials have already left for their respective polling stations with the polling materials.

The prominent candidates who are in the fray include present BTC chief Hagrama Moholari, his deputy Kampha Borgoyari, ex-NDFB leaders B Ferenga and B Saoragra, UPPL Vice President Rwngwra Narzary and BJP state secretary Shivanath Brahma.
