February 24, 2023: Five people have been killed in a deadly road accident that took place at Sonitpur in Assam on Friday.

The accident took place when a vehicle fell into a roadside ditch.

According to police officials, the driver lost control and hit a roadside tree following which the vehicle fell into a ditch.

The deceased have been identified as Bhaikon Patangia, Bidyut Nath, Dipen Borah, Aakashdeep Borah and Liku Saikia.
