December 11, 2020: The counting of votes for the polls to the Bodoland Territorial Council will be held on Saturday.



The counting will start from 8AM and will be held in 10 sub division headquarters of 4 districts.



The counting will be held in Kokrajhar, Gossaigaon, Parbatjhora, Chirang, Bijni, Tamulpur, Bhergaon, Udalguri, Salbari and Mushalpur.



The fates of 241 candidates for 40 constituencies of BTC will be decided in tomorrow’s counting.



Overall 77.9% turnout was recorded in the polls held in two phases. While 77% was recorded in first phase on December 7, 78.8% was recorded in second phase held on December 10.



Apart from ruling BPF; BJP, UPPL, Congress and AIUDF are in the fray in this election.



Meanwhile, repoll was held in a polling station of Gossaigaon on Friday.



In the first phase, polling was held in 21 constituencies of Udalguri and Baksa districts while 19 constituencies of Kokrajhar and Chirang were held on Thursday.
