This is the fourth arrest in the case. The App was used to post photos of Muslim women and hold an online auction to insult women from the minority community. The centre had blocked the app earlier this week.

Police commissioner Rakesh Asthana had officially transferred the case to IFSO unit on Wednesday morning after it made a breakthrough in tracking the footprints of the creator. A six-member team was formed under DCP Malhotra to lead the operation which led to the arrest of the creator.

The Bulli Bai case has been transferred to us. The MLAT procedure in the Sulli app case is completed in India and will soon be delivered to the Department of Justice. Details will be sought through MLAT accordingly and will be shared through Interpol," KPS Malhotra, DCP (IFSO) said on Wednesday.

Delhi Police will give a brief on the operation on Thursday evening.
