November 27, 2022: Assam police is on full alert and the security surveillance has been tightened in Charaideo district of Assam as the militant organization, ULFA(Independent) will observe "Protest day" on November 28.

The Army and police forces have combined to conduct search operations of the place.

Security arrangements have been made across the Assam-Nagaland and Assam-Arunachal borders in Charaideo district, after the police received the information that a large group of ULFA(Independent) militant had come down from the hills to carry out operations in Charaideo and Sivasagar districts.
