Presentations about the situation along the borders are likely to be made at this crucial meeting.

Meghalaya CM Sangma has already had an almost 45 minute long one-on-one meet with his Assam counterpart on the border issue.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah in January had urged all the states in the region to solve their boundary disputes by August 15, 2022 when the country celebrates 75 years of Independence.
