May 12, 2022: Hedayet Ali, a software engineer who hails from Hajo in Assam has successfully scaled Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain at 20,031.7 feet.



 He achieved the feat today at 7.30 AM, his family members informed.



Ali is currently working in California. He had earlier scaled Mt Kilimanjaro, the dormant volcano in Tanzania at 19, 341 feet. He also conquered Mount Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas and the highest range outside Asia at 22, 383 feet. Aconcagua is part of the Andes mountain range in South America.
