June 18, 2022: At least 54 people have due to floods and landslides and 18, 94,373 people in 28 districts have been affected by the devastating floods that have hit Assam, the Assam State Disaster Management Authority informed. These are numbers in the last 24 hours.



Beki, Manas, Pagladiya, Puthimari, Jia-Bharali and the Brahmaputra rivers are flowing above the danger mark.

Bajali district is the worst affected with 3,55,000 people either displaced, moved to relief camps or living under flood conditions followed by Darrand (2,90,405 people affected), Goalpara (1,84,502 people affected), Barpeta (1,68,970 people affected), Kamrup (1,18,939 people affected) and  Hojai (1,05,341 people affected).
