August 12, 2020: The COVID-19 cases in Assam have crossed 64000 mark with 2669 new positive cases on Tuesday.
Reportedly, 52062 covid tests were done in last 24 hours.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state now stand at 64406 - out of which 19175 are active cases whereas 45073 have been recovered. Meanwhile, the death toll has rose up to 155.
Informing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 2669 COVID cases detected out of 52062 tests in last 24 hrs
