November 21, 2022: Protest staged by a Adarsha Vidyalaya students and parents in Karimganj, Assam on Monday over school development fee of Rs 300 per month on students.

The decision was introduced by the Assam Government for the development of the school.

Most of the workers and the teachers of the school have also joined the protest and issued a memorandum regarding the issue.

The protester seeks to grab the attention of the Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Educational Minister Ranoj Pegu regarding the matter.

The Guardians have also complained the authorities that the school students haven’t yet received new uniforms.

This decision by the government has received a lot of criticism from the people of Assam.
