May 22, 2020: Two more COVID-19 cases have been reported in Assam, taking the total number of coronavirus cases in the state to 216 on Friday. 
It may be stated that the two new cases have been reported from Silchar quarantine centre. One patient from Cachar and another from Hailakandi. 
" Alert - Two persons from Silchar  quarantine centre are found #COVID19 +. One each from Cachar and Hailakandi" State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.
The tally is inclusive of 155 patients who are currently active cases while 54 patients have recovered from the disease. 
The number of deaths due to the disease are four and three patients have been migrated.
