December 8, 2020: The tourists coming to Kaziranga National Park will soon be able to enjoy cycle rides in areas around the national park.
The park authority is expecting to introduce cycling facility very soon, informed the park director P Shivkumar.
The tourist inflow to the home of rare on-horned rhino has picked up momentum with over 23,000 tourists visiting the park since it was reopened. The authority expects over 1 lakh footfall of tourists in this season.
So far, the park has earned a revenue of Rs. 46 lakh. However, most of the tourists are domestic tourists while 50 foreigners working in India have also visited the park.
