May 26, 2020: The total number of COVID-19 cases in Assam rises to 548 after nine new positive cases were reported on Monday.

Reportedly, nine people found COVID-19 positive from Barpeta.

 State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, "Alert ~ Nine new cases of #COVID19 reported. Swabs for testing taken before people sent for quarantine. All from Barpeta. Total cases 548, Recovered 62, Active cases 479, Deaths 04, Migrated 03."
