March 5, 2020: A devastating fire broke out at a house in Kamalpur's Chowrakara Village in Kamrup on Thursday. The fire blazed out at the residence of one named Tajnur Ali.

It has been suspected that the fire blazed out due to short-circuit. No casualties have been reported.

Though the locals tried to control the situation but property worth lakhs have been destroyed in the fire.

Locals have alleged that the fire brigade was late in reaching the scene because of which the destruction was massive.
